My Ematic EGQ780 Tablet Review: Testing it Out During a Vacation in London
When I was looking for a new tablet to upgrade my tech collection, I knew I wanted something that was lightweight, yet powerful. After researching several options, I decided to purchase the Ematic EGQ780 tablet. During my recent vacation to London, United Kingdom I was able to put the tablet to the test and see if it was worth the investment.

The Ematic EGQ780 is a 7-inch tablet with a powerful 1.2GHz processor, 8GB of storage, and a 1024×600 resolution display. The tablet runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and comes with a built-in front-facing camera, an HDMI port, and a microSD slot.
Pros and Cons:
The Ematic EGQ780 offers a lot of features for a tablet of its size and price. It’s lightweight and portable, making it ideal for travel. The display is crisp and clear, and the processor is quite powerful for a device of this size. I also found the battery life to be quite good, lasting for several hours of use.
On the downside, the tablet does not have the latest version of Android (it’s running on 4.2 Jelly Bean). It also does not have a rear-facing camera, which would have been a nice feature to have. The 8GB of storage also feels a bit limited, but this can be expanded with a microSD card.
Testing the Tablet in London:
During my time in London, I used the Ematic EGQ780 to capture photos and video with the front-facing camera. I also used it to browse the web and check my emails. I found the tablet to be quite responsive and snappy, even when switching between multiple apps or browsing the web with multiple tabs open.
I also took advantage of the HDMI port to connect the tablet to a larger display. This was great for watching movies and streaming videos, as the 7-inch display can feel a bit cramped at times.
Overall, I was very impressed with the performance of the Ematic EGQ780. It offered a lot of features for a tablet of its size and price, and it performed quite well during my time in London.
