Being a professional photographer and tech enthusiast, I was thrilled to test the new Kurio Tab Connect tablet and explore its capabilities. I decided to take the tablet with me to Helsinki, Finland, and use it throughout the day, from sunrise to sunset, in different settings and climatic conditions. The Kurio Tab Connect is a 7-inch tablet, created both for adults and children. It operates on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and comes with an 8GB storage capacity, a 720 x 1280 display, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, a 2 MP front camera, and a 5 MP rear camera. It flaunts an IPS screen.
Advantages and Disadvantages
The Kurio Tab Connect’s durability is one of its most significant strengths. Built using sturdy plastic material, it can withstand everyday wear and tear, making it amazing for travel since it doesn’t easily get damaged. Its battery life is solid, with up to 6 hours of usage on a single charge.
However, a significant shortfall is its limited apps repository, with only a few preloaded apps available for download. Additionally, the tablet’s performance could be slightly slow during multitasking.
My Experience in Helsinki with Kurio Connect Tab
Throughout my stay in Helsinki, I used the Kurio Tab Connect to test its various features. The tablet handled the icy temperatures of the morning and evening without hassle, and I could use it confidently under bright sunlight.
The tablet’s camera features impressed me. Its 2 MP front camera and 5 MP rear camera captured Helsinki’s beauty splendidly. Additionally, it has video-taking capabilities with excellent quality.
I used the tablet to browse the internet and play different games, and the touchscreen responsiveness was satisfactory, with no navigation problems. However, multitasking could be slow, resulting in minor lag issues.
Overall, the Kurio Tab Connect amazed me with its ability to perform well despite different climatic and physical settings in Helsinki.
