As an avid photographer and tech enthusiast, I recently took a much-needed vacation to Jerusalem, Israel. During my stay, I had the opportunity to test out the Motorola ET1 Enterprise Tablet, an Android-based device designed to boost mobile productivity. In this article, I will share my experience with the device during my 24-hour test period, including its features, strengths, and weaknesses.
Features of the Motorola ET1 Enterprise Tablet
The Motorola ET1 is a 7-inch Android tablet with a 5-point multi-touch display. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. With 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage (expandable to 32 GB via microSD), this tablet is designed for extreme durability and is MIL-STD-810G certified. It features an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, as well as a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
My Experience Testing the Motorola ET1 Enterprise Tablet in Jerusalem
During my stay in Jerusalem, I took the tablet with me to the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the Dome of the Rock, using it to take photos and capture video. I also used the tablet to do some light work while traveling, such as writing emails and making video calls.
The Motorola ET1 performed exceptionally well in all of these scenarios. Its display was clear and bright, and the photos and videos I took were of high quality. The tablet was responsive and easy to use, without any noticeable lag or stuttering. With the screen brightness set to maximum, the tablet lasted for over 8 hours of use.
Pros and Cons of the Motorola ET1 Enterprise Tablet
The Motorola ET1 is a well-built and reliable tablet, making it an ideal choice for work or travel. Its rugged construction is designed to withstand daily use, and its battery life is impressive. The display is bright and clear, too.
However, the biggest disadvantage of the Motorola ET1 is its lack of an LTE connection. Given that the tablet is Wi-Fi only, users cannot access the internet while on the go. Additionally, some of the more advanced features found on other tablets, such as a USB-C port or a fingerprint scanner, are missing.
My Verdict: Overall Impression of the Motorola ET1 Enterprise Tablet
Having used the Motorola ET1 Enterprise Tablet over the course of 24 hours, I can confidently say that this is a great device for those who need a durable and reliable tablet for work or travel. Its battery life is excellent, and its display is clear and bright. That said, the missing LTE connection and some of the advanced features may be a deal breaker for some users.
