The DXS-1210-12TC provides flexible network connection options with its 10GBASE-T/ SFP+ combo ports. The switch has high performance and low latency, making it ideal for virtualization, cloud services, server-to-server applications, and SMBs.

The DXS-1210-12TC has 10GbE copper and fiber ports. The 10GBASE-T copper ports support 10 Gigabit speeds over CAT6a/CAT7 LAN cabling up to 100m, using RJ45 interfaces. The 10GbE fiber ports are compatible with low-cost Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cables and SFP+ optical transceivers over multimode or single-mode fiber optic cabling.

Secure your Network

The DXS-1210-12TC is protected against malicious traffic flooding with D-Link’s Safeguard Engine. It also supports 802.1X port-based and host-based authentication for external RADIUS servers. Access Control List (ACL) enhances network security and protects against intruders. Additionally, the switch has ARP spoofing prevention and DHCP server screening to prevent unauthorized IP assignment.

Versatile Management

The DXS-1210-12TC is simple to configure with D-Link Network Assistant Utility. Users do not need to change their PC’s IP address to discover the DXS-1210-12TC. Switches connected to the user’s PC in the same L2 network segment are displayed on screen. The switch also supports D-View 7 and Command Line Interface (CLI) through Telnet for centralized management of network availability, reliability, resilience, and security.

The DXS-1210-12TC is also compatible with Ethernet copper ports, supporting the use of CAT5 twisted-pair cables and CAT6 for 10GBASE-T. The switch has 8 10GBASE-T ports, 2 SFP+ ports, and 2 10GBASE-T/SFP+ combo ports. This setup provides more flexibility for upstream or downstream server connections and makes network administration easier.
