DW616 Fixed Base Router

The DEWALT DW616 Fixed Base Router is a premier tool for smooth routing. It comes with 1-3/4HP (maximum motor HP) and an 11.0 amp motor to provide the necessary power to rout smoothly through the toughest hardwoods.

For enhanced performance, it features a clear, LEXAN sub-base that provides enhanced base durability, bit visibility, and accepts standard template guide bushings.

Additionally, it is designed to offer maximum convenience to the user with an adjustable, tool-free steel motor cam lock that makes depth adjustment and base changes quick and solid-locking.

The detachable cordset provides cordset serviceability and removes the need for a ‘shorty’ cord motor pack.

The DEWALT DW616 router is equipped with a dust-sealed switch to protect against dust ingestion, resulting in longer switch life. The nickel plated motor housing provides a smooth, long-lasting depth adjustment.

Fixed Base Router

This fixed base router has a flat top for easy bit and depth changes. It also includes a sub-base concentricity gauge to ensure bit concentricity for best-in-class accuracy.

The DEWALT router is designed for user comfort and control, with rubber overmolded handles and a low center of gravity design that provides best-in-class comfort, balance, and control.

For fast and easy motor pack removal for bit and base changes, it features quick release motor latches. The micro-fine depth adjustment ring provides precise depth adjustments in 1/64″ increments and adjusts vertically for a constant switch/cordset location.

The DEWALT router has a heavy-duty, precision machined, die-cast aluminum base and motor housing for durability and low tool weight. It also has the option for a right or left switch and cordset location to give users the ability to have the switch in their right or left hand as needed.
