Let’s take a look at the new firmware update for the DJI Osmo Action 3 Standard Combo.

The camera now boasts the ability to record 4K HDR video, thanks to chip-level HDR technology. It supports various recording options, including 4K/2.7K/1080p@24/25/30fps (16:9). Even in high-contrast situations, such as sunrises and sunsets, the camera can capture natural lighting transitions by restoring the highlight and shadow details. You can also activate stabilization features like RockSteady 3.0, RockSteady+, HorizonSteady, or HorizonBalancing to stabilize your footage.

The camera also has 10-bit color depth, which records over one billion colors to provide greater flexibility in post-production. This feature delivers smoother and more natural color gradations, allowing you to capture stunning images that are more true to life than ever before.

Timecode is designed to support multi-camera shooting. After synchronizing the timecode of each camera, you can quickly align materials from different cameras with the built-in timecode information, enhancing the post-production efficiency.

• The 120fps high frame rate is only applicable to 1080p, 2.7K 16:9, and 4K 16:9 video specifications.
• In a laboratory environment that was 25°C (77°F), the camera was tested while recording 1080p/30fps video with EIS disabled and both screens off. This test is for reference only.

The Osmo Action 3 and its Waterproof Case have an IP68 waterproof rating. Do not use the camera in hot springs or expose it to corrosive liquids.
