The DUNE HD MAGIC 4K / 4K Plus is a powerful compact media player and Android Smart TV box, featuring a modern Amlogic S905X3 processor. The processor provides more power and supports new technologies, including HDR10+. Both models come with either 4GB or 2GB of operating memory and either 32GB or 16GB flash memory that provides more space for apps and internal storage. The device is equipped with a USB 3.0 port to ensure the best performance of USB storage devices.

Magic 4K / 4K Plus supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz + 5.0 GHz), with 2T2R support and two external Wi-Fi antennas, which allows you to play high-bitrate content through the air. The additional Bluetooth remote controls the set-top box via a radio channel and provides the microphone function for voice search in applications that support it. It also provides the AirMouse function for convenient control of Android applications not optimized for controlling via a conventional remote.

The device supports VP9 profile 2 and YouTube 4K HDR, and it runs on Android 9 for Android applications. Moreover, it is based on an open Dune HD SDK and APIs, making various TV-optimized applications, plugins, extensions, GUI skins, collection management solutions, integrations with home automation systems available via the official Dune Store, 3-party vendors, and the huge user’s community. A Dune Control mobile app for iOS and Android provides full access to all functions of Dune HD media player. The player also features a built-in file server, which makes the content of the drives connected to the player and internal memory of the player easily accessible on a PC and other devices in the local network.

The Magic 4K / 4K Plus supports various media sources, including external HDDs (USB), USB devices (USB flash drive, USB card reader, etc), built-in micro SD card slot, PC and NAS in the local network (SMB, NFS, UPnP/DLNA, HTTP), and other Internet and local network media sources. It supports many video file formats such as MKV, MPEG-TS, MPEG-PS, M2TS, VOB, AVI, MOV, MP4, QT, ASF, WMV, ISO, folders, and video codecs including MPEG2, MPEG4, XVID, WMV9, VC1, H.264, H.265, H.265 10-bit, VP9, VP9 profile 2. It also supports very high bitrate video up to 100 Mbit/s and higher.
