The Intellinet Network Solutions Outdoor Gigabit High-Power PoE+ Extender Repeater (561211) is an excellent device to extend connection distances from a PoE source to an output device up to 100 meters( 328 ft.) via Cat5e or Cat6 cable. It has an exclusive IP65 rating and a wide operating temperature range of -40 – 75°C (-4 to 167°F), which allows it to be deployed in harsh conditions. Connecting the “PoE In” port with your PoE injector or PoE switch and the “PoE Out” to the PoE device you want to connect, like a VoIP phone or a PoE network camera, is all it takes. The extender does not require an additional power supply as it draws the required power from the PoE input.

No more AC power lines are necessary when using the Intellinet Network Solutions Outdoor Gigabit High-Power PoE+ Extender Repeater. You can connect it to the LAN switch port and use the existing Cat5 cabling to deliver DC power and transfer data. The external device gets 25 watts of input power and data forwarded at Gigabit speeds. Cascading multiple PoE extenders increases the transmission distance even farther, up to 500 m (1640 ft.). Each PoE extender added draws up to 4 watts of usable PD power, keep it in mind before you add it. The device is IEEE 802.3at/af-compliant, and it supports 10/100/1000 Mbps data rates.
