When in Trickle mode, the charger monitors the battery voltage, even while showing OFF on the screen. Should the voltage drop below 12.5 Volts, the charger automatically turns back on and charges the battery to full and normal voltage.

Force 12V mode:

If the charger accidentally recognizes the 12V battery as a 6V battery (for example, the power of 12V battery is less than 6 Volts), you can press and hold the Mode button for 5 seconds, and the charger will be forced to switch to the 12V charging mode.
