The Summit X450-G2 series is a highly resilient Ethernet switch that provides continuous uptime, manageability, and operational efficiency to simplify network deployments. Extreme Networks developed the revolutionary ExtremeXOS® technology, which is the operating system for the switch and offers nonblocking hardware technology for effective campus edge switches with IEEE 802.3at PoE-plus. The switches are also an excellent option for DSLAM or CMTS aggregation or active Ethernet access. The switches come equipped with either 4 ports of SFP+ 10 GbE or 4 ports of SFP 1GbE resident on the faceplate of each model, which makes them highly flexible.
