Ricoh GR IIIx, Black, Digital Compact Camera with 24MP APS-C Size CMOS Sensor, 40mmF2.8 GR Lens (in The 35mm Format)

The Ricoh GR IIIx is a compact digital camera that is black in colour. Its 24MP APS-C size CMOS sensor and 40mmF2.8 GR lens (in the 35mm format) enable it to produce high-quality, high-resolution images. The newly designed lens is slimmer and provides a 40mm standard angle of view in the 35mm format, giving pictures a more natural perspective and deeper depth. The camera also has a macro photography feature that captures images up to 12 centimetres from the lens front end. The camera comes equipped with an ND filter, a diaphragm mechanism that creates natural bokeh, and is compatible with multi-tone 14-bit RAW image recording.

The camera features a hybrid AF system that incorporates both contrast-type and phase-detection-type AF mechanisms for high-speed, high-precision autofocus operation. It has a three-axis SR (Shake Reduction) mechanism that compensates for camera shake at the time of shutter release and minimizes the adverse effects of camera shake caused by pitch, yaw, and roll. The camera also has an AA (anti-aliasing) Filter Simulator that provides the same level of moiré reduction as an optical AA filter.

The camera is compact, lightweight, and highly portable, and its controls are user-friendly, including a touch-screen interface and air gapless construction that reduces reflection and improves visibility in difficult lighting conditions. The camera features an Image Control function that allows the user to adjust various parameters and add custom settings to the Image Control function menu. The camera provides in-body RAW-data development and advanced image editing features that include the ability to adjust recording size, aspect ratio, and exposure compensation factor without the need for a PC.

The Ricoh GR IIIx provides wireless LAN functions for easy pairing with mobile devices and the dedicated Image Sync application enables the user to transfer captured images to a mobile device, display a Live-View image on the device’s monitor, change various settings remotely, release the shutter from a distance, and even upload captured images to various social media platforms with ease. The camera also has Full HD movie recording capabilities, a Color Moiré Correction function, and an Interval Composite mode. It is compatible with accessory flash units designed for use with PENTAX digital SLR cameras.
