Ruckus Wireless Zoneflex 7982 Indoor Wireless Access Point
$39.90
The Ruckus Wireless Zoneflex 7982 is an innovative indoor wireless access point designed to deliver consistent and stable performance in high-capacity environments while ensuring that smart mobile devices that frequently change their location and orientation have stable connections. It is the only three-stream 802.11n access point that offers dynamic polarization diversity, adaptive antenna arrays, and transmit beamforming features. These features ensure that customers enjoy up to a four-fold boost in Wi-Fi performance, signal gain, and reception even in harsh environments.
The Zoneflex 7982 is a concurrent dual-band (5GHz/2.4GHz) wireless access point that supports up to 900 Mbps (450 Mbps per radio) with three-stream MIMO 3×3:3 and transmitting beamforming capabilities. It can support up to 500 clients with limited throughput. This indoor wireless access point is powered over Ethernet (PoE) 802.3af/at, with PoE injector and power supply sold separately. It’s essential to note that for the deployment of multiple access points, a controller (sold separately) is highly recommended. However, when the AP is running a standalone base image, controller-specific features such as smart mesh networking will be unavailable.
The Ruckus Wireless Zoneflex 7982 has a power consumption of 5W minimum and 7W typical, making it energy efficient. Its PoE feature ensures that power and data can be transmitted over the same ethernet cable, thereby cutting down on the cost of installation.
For anyone looking for an indoor wireless access point that can deliver robust performance, the Ruckus Wireless Zoneflex 7982 is an excellent choice to consider. Click on the link below to get yours.
