Ruckus Wireless ZoneFlex R500 Wireless Access Point

The Ruckus ZoneFlex R500 Wireless Access Point provides high-speed and reliable 802.11ac wireless networking at an affordable price. It uses patented adaptive antenna technology and automatic interference mitigation to ensure consistent and predictable performance at longer ranges, with up to an extra 4dB of BeamFlex gain on top of physical antenna gain, and up to 10dB of interference mitigation.

The device supports concurrent dual-band (5GHz/2.4GHz) operation and can handle up to 500 clients with limited throughput. It’s powered over Ethernet (PoE) and does not come with a power adapter or PoE injector. For multiple access point deployment, it’s recommended to use a controller (sold separately). However, Controller-specific features such as Smart Mesh networking are not available when running as Standalone AP base-image.

The ZoneFlex R500 delivers user throughput of up to 867 Mbps (5 GHz) and 300 Mbps (2.4 GHz).
