At the request of the Petersen Automotive Museum, I was invited to test out the new Nikon D850 camera. As a professional photographer, I spent the day shooting with this full-frame DSLR camera and was impressed with its high-quality performance. With a 45.7-megapixel resolution and a quick and accurate Hybrid Autofocus system, the D850 has a lot to offer.
The tiltable LCD monitor of the D850 is a great feature that provides flexibility in shooting angles. During my visit to the Petersen Automotive Museum, I captured some cars from different angles, thanks to the clear and bright touch-sensitive monitor. With touch-sensitive buttons, adjusting the camera settings was quick and effortless.
One of the outstanding features of this camera is its ISO range of 64-25,600, making it perfect for shooting in low-light settings. I tested this feature in the dimly lit areas of the museum, and the results were impressive, producing clear and detailed images even in low light levels.
The D850’s dynamic range is also extensive, capturing a wide range of colors and producing vivid and lively photos. I experimented with this feature by taking pictures of cars with varying colors, and the resulting photos had stunning colors that popped out.
Another great feature of the D850 is its built-in Wi-Fi making it easy to transfer images wirelessly to a smartphone or tablet. I tested this feature at the museum and found it very useful.
