Recently, I had the chance to test out the Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II Camera at The Last Bookstore in Los Angeles. As a professional photographer, I was excited to try out this camera in such a unique setting and share my experience with readers.
One of the most impressive features of the camera was its 16.1 megapixel Live MOS sensor and TruePic VII image processor. This allowed me to capture beautiful photos with vivid colors and sharp details regardless of the lighting condition. I was also impressed with its 5-axis image stabilization system that helped reduce camera shake and blurring.
The camera has many shooting modes, including a dual-axis electronic level, creative art filters, and a time-lapse movie mode. It boasts a 3-inch tilting LCD screen with 1040k dots and a built-in pop-up flash. During my full-day test at The Last Bookstore, I appreciated its fast and accurate focus, and the effective image stabilization system that delivered sharp photos in low-light conditions. Additionally, the camera handled well in bright sunlight, and I could adjust exposure settings quickly and easily.
However, the camera’s battery life is relatively short, and the LCD screen can be challenging to see in bright sunlight. Moreover, the menus can be confusing to navigate, and the camera lacks a built-in GPS.
Overall, the Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II Camera is an excellent choice for both professional and amateur photographers. Its image quality is impressive, and it is relatively easy to operate. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality camera.
