Archos 101 Oxygen: An Overview
The Archos 101 Oxygen tablet is a mid-level device with a 10.1 inch HD IPS display featuring a resolution of 1920×1200 and a wide viewing angle. It runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, has a dual-core 1.6GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, 16GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot for up to 64GB of additional storage.
Testing the Archos 101 Oxygen in San Francisco
Stefan began by testing the tablet’s HD IPS display. He was impressed with the vibrant colors and wide viewing angle, and he found that the 1920×1200 resolution was great for viewing photos and videos.
He then tested the tablet’s performance and found it capable of handling most tasks. He browsed the web, checked email, and streamed videos without any lag.
Next, he tested the camera and found both the 5MP rear-facing camera and the 2MP front-facing camera to be decent, with a variety of settings for different modes.
Lastly, he tested the tablet’s storage capabilities and found that with 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot, he could store a good amount of photos, music, and videos.
Pros and Cons
Stefan was overall impressed with the Archos 101 Oxygen tablet. It has a great display, good performance, decent cameras, and plenty of storage. However, the only downside was the tablet running on the outdated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
