My Honor Pad 7 Review: A Week in Madrid
I am Stefan Zimbade, a professional photographer and tech geek, and I recently spent a week in Madrid, Spain, testing out the new Honor Pad 7 tablet. This mid-range tablet from Chinese tech giant Huawei features a 7-inch IPS LCD display with a 720 x 1280 resolution, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB of storage. It has a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera and runs on Android 9.0 Pie, and below is what I thought of the tablet after a week of use.
Fast Facts
The tablet features a sharp display, good performance, and great battery life, making it a great device for everyday use. Despite being a budget tablet, I was able to do all my photography editing with ease and stream movies and TV shows without any issues.
Pros
One of the Honor Pad 7’s best features is its price-to-performance ratio. The UI is easy to navigate, and it runs so smoothly that I encountered no glitches even during long hours of use.
Cons
While the tablet has excellent features, there are a few downsides. The cameras on the device are a bit low quality, and the speakers could be better, but this is expected from a budget tablet. Lastly, the battery life did not quite live up to the advertised spec.
Conclusion
Overall, the Honor Pad 7 impressed me. It is a great budget tablet that provides amazing performance, features and experience that make it worth buying. For anyone needing a budget tablet without compromising on features has to check this device.
