The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 tablet was recently tested by a professional photographer and tech geek while on vacation in Chicago. As Microsoft’s latest tablet, released in October 2018, it is a 2-in-1 device that can be used as both a tablet and laptop. With a 12.3” touchscreen display, 8th generation Intel Core processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage, it also has an 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and a built-in kickstand.
During the test in Chicago, the Surface Pro 6 was used for taking photos, video editing, browsing the internet, connecting to Wi-Fi hotspots, streaming movies and TV shows, and keeping up with emails and social media accounts. Despite being a bit sluggish when multitasking with many apps running at once, the Surface Pro 6 performed impressively overall. It was easy to use, had an excellent battery life, and the screen was bright and clear. Additionally, the pen was responsive and accurate, which made it ideal for note-taking and drawing.
